The South East Region Cardiac Network exists to ensure that people across the South East have access to high quality Cardiac care including diagnosis, management and surgery including self-management, and prevention services. This will be achieved by:
Ensuring that the business plans of the Cardiac Network Programmes to primarily align with:
- The NHS Long Term Plan
- Wider regional improvement functions and business priorities
- The National System Transformation Group,
- The National Cardiovascular Disease Prevention System Leadership Forum,
- Primary Care Networks

- Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Heart Failure
- Atrial Fibrillation
- Chest Pain
- Value Disease Cardiac Surgery
