South East Maternity and Neonatal Co-Production Project

Take your co-production to the next level with free resources to support Trusts and LMNSs in collaborating with service users and MVPs to improve local maternity services.

The South East Region Maternity Coproduction Working Group has created:

  • A bank of resources on coproduction, putting all the existing literature in one place for easy review and access.
  • A gap analysis tool and maternity-specific guide to assist Trusts and MVPs in evaluating their current situation, and progress, in five key areas.
  • Good practice examples of both individual projects and coproduction as “business as usual” to inspire how you could incorporate ideas into your work.

These resources and tools will support work to embed coproduction into the culture and practice of maternity services, in accordance with requirements including Ockenden and CNST, and ensure services are robustly developed to reflect and be responsive to local need.

Use of these resources is optional; please feel free to adapt to your needs. Please share any resources you would like to be included in the pack. We welcome your feedback and comments to england.sematernity@nhs.net
