Coronavirus update: switching to virtual live events

Coronavirus Update

Following our correspondence on Friday regarding workshops planned for the next two weeks, we have been considering the rapidly evolving situation and have taken the decision to cancel the following conferences face to face.

This is due to NHS staff having increased pressures and priorities elsewhere, and we did not want to put any additional burden on colleagues who are being pulled on to other more urgent work.

Organisers are exploring the possibility of delivering each conference or part of it virtually via an online platform such as Webex – specific details below.

17 March 2020 – Data Outcomes Workshop – Newbury

For this event we are setting up a shorter session which will be run over Microsoft Teams as a virtual live event. This will be run from 14:00 to 15:30 on Tuesday 17th March . An updated agenda and joining instructions will be circulated. The webinar will be recorded and this will be shared more widely for colleagues who are not able to join.

18 March 2020 – Thames Valley and Wessex SCN Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Workshop – Basingstoke

For this event, we are setting up a shorter session which will be run over Microsoft Teams as a virtual live event. This will be run from 10:30 to 12:00 on Wednesday 18th March . An updated agenda and joining instructions will be circulated. The webinar will be recorded and this will be shared more widely for colleagues who are not able to join.

27 March 2020 – Eating Disorders Workshop – Newbury

For this event the organisers are exploring the possibility of delivering a shorter session to be run over Microsoft Teams as a virtual live event and more details will follow.

Thank you for your patience.
