NHS Web Beds expands to show perinatal mental health teams

Hampshire Thames Valley Clinical Delivery and Networks is pleased to announce that NHS WebBeds – the website that shows the availability of mother and baby unit beds across England, is now also showing all the contact details for perinatal mental health community teams.

This exciting new development has been added to help women, their families and health professionals to locate their nearest team. This new development went live on Wednesday 4 March 2020 and has already received really positive feedback.

“The most important feature of WebBeds is its simplicity,” says Jenny Walsh, Clinical Lead for Perinatal Mental Health. “It’s designed to be quick for NHS units to update on a daily basis, and easy to access for those looking for a bed. It’s an essential resource to access specialist perinatal mental health services when and where a mother needs them.”
