Cavita’s journey in the healthcare industry began as an overseas Nurse, where she gained firsthand experience in both private and NHS sectors. Armed with a solid foundation in psychology, Business and equality, Cavita has emerged as a distinguished expert in the field, with a remarkable track record of leadership in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) across the healthcare sector.
Over the past eight years, Cavita has been a driving force behind EDI initiatives for NHS England and Health Education England in the southern regions. Her expertise extends to supporting NHS trusts, Integrated Care Systems (ICS), and NHS England in staff network development, equality and strategy, inclusive leadership, and talent management. Cavita is also an academic supervisor at Henley Business School.
Currently immersed in a PhD journey centred around equality and talent management, Cavita’s dedication to advancing the field is unwavering. Her research endeavours aim to contribute significantly to the discourse on inclusive leadership and strategic thinking. Her ambition is clear – to bring about transformative change through inclusive leadership practices and strategic thinking. She believes in the power of diversity to drive innovation and excellence.
