The purpose of this report is to summarise the CYP Workforce Summit held in person on 27 June 2023. It highlights the outputs and outlines agreed next steps for supporting the CYP Workforce agenda.

Since the summit, the NHS long term workforce plan (LTWP) was published. There are national discussions around the LTWP and CYP workforce discussions which this paper does not focus on. However, the outputs and next steps of this report and continued work in this area, do aim to support the delivery of aspirations of transforming and improving the CYP workforce.
