Business Support Officer

What relevant experience do you have to perform your current role?

I have a range of international administrative experience working in the public sector for more than 15 years. I’ve developed lots of interpersonal skills over the years. I have previously managed a team of 10 employees for about 5 years in a very busy work environment. So, I bring a deep understanding of people, and their aspirations to the team. I also bring a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

What excites you about working at South East Mental Health Team?

I have often taken interest in supporting local community (my village) via volunteer services to improve people’s mental health through educating them in health and wellbeing practices. Now, that I have the opportunity to be engaged in a wider scale from an international perspective makes working at the South East Mental Health Team very exciting.

What difference are you making to improve the care and health outcomes of patients or members of the public?

Although I do not have direct contact with patients, but I am making a difference behind the scene by supporting my managers and the system in general in my own little way to ensure that the short-term and the long-term plans for the NHSE MH are achievable. This of course would benefit both patients and their families.
