All Age Mental Health Surge Planning – a series of webinars

We are working with the NHS Benchmarking Network to model the impact of COVID-19 on mental health services in the South East and predict future demand.

Our primary aims are to:

  • Collect data (April 2021 to March 2022) as part of the monthly NHS Benchmarking data collection across the eight mental health Trusts across the South East region, relating to COVID-19 disruption, recovery and transformation;
  • Develop and update (on a quarterly basis) the South East Mental Health COVID-19 modelling tool which will enable systems to plan for local changes in demand and service delivery as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic;
  • Deliver quarterly webinars to support South East Mental Health systems in using the COVID-19 modelling tool throughout 2021-22, in order to aide mental health demand and capacity planning as well as potential future service developments.

We are keen that we take system-wide approach, so that we can all benefit from the skill and expertise of the NHS Benchmarking Network. We will therefore be recording all webinars and making them available to view.
